Putting up this post because a lot of independent pole studios have closed down end of 2025- early 2026. Independent pole practice studios started to sprout up just before and during Covid. These studios provide really accessible practice sessions for pole learners. However, due to the increase in rentals in Singapore, many of them find it very hard to sustain running the studio and have to be forced to close down.
Studio Pixie Dust
Closed on 14 Dec 2025

Starting with Studio Pixie dust , situated in the Centropod of the East side same building as Muse Haven. This little cosy space was predominantly in green and had a very nice window side for photographs. Somehow the poles in this studio is not like Aerial ground or Magical moon which can pose some sort of problem when try to execute some tricks. Its location is near to Eunos and Paya Lebar MRT, somewhere in between, I like its tranquil location and away from the usual studios in the city. The studio has 4 poles ( 2 of which is brass and 2 of which is chrome) . The ceiling is high and natural light is good in the day while at night, they have special lightings for your pole videos. Although they do not have private toilet, there is a small basin for you to wash your hands after practice. I hardly come here because it is located in the East just like Muse haven also. The price is rather reasonable and the package is also very worth it.
BubbleGum Studios
Closed on 29 Jan 2026

BubbleGum is a teeny boppy colourful studio with 2 brass and 2 chrome poles. It has shiny curtains and also colourful pastel rainbow wall at the back of the studio. Situated in the Concorde Hotel Arcade, near to Doby Ghaut, this studio has very good cheap rental pricing especially for off peak timings. Although it does not have toilets or wash areas inside, and it somewhat have a shady feel because of a lot of Karaoke and snack bars in the building. I guess if you just ignore the sleazy feel inside the building you can still get a good time practicing. The good thing about the studio is the aircon is very strong, but floors can get a bit dirty. I especially like their chrome pole near to the wall, somehow I could stick and do many tricks on it. So far the music and electronics in the studio is very good. They closed on 29 Jan 2026 because of en bloc project for the building and the tenants have to move out. Being situated in Orchard makes it a very centralised and good location for Polers, but it is all gone now. Now in Orchard there is still Brassbarre although I have not been there for a long time.

Another CBD studio located near to Boat and Clarke quay. I used to spend quite sometime here because of its proximity to my office. But the pricing went up and I ended up going to Aerialground more because of the better price and also it is nearer to the MRT. Wonderwall is a L shaped studio, there is one pole just at the entrance and it has a nice little cozy living room area near to the toilet side. I remember there was one time I went into the studio a little early and had a little power nap at the cozy corner with its seashell chair. Its located on a busy street but yet when you reach the studio it gets quiet and tranquil. It has a lot of portable coloured lights for you to use for the pole videos. They also had a give away of tote bags for heels before. The pricing is a bit expensive but I guess that is because it is in the CBD area.
Open 15 Nov 2025

This studio is pretty new located in Lavender area. I think the nearest MRT is Bendemeer, which is the Downtown Line. The studio is not very near the MRT, you probably have to walk about 7-8 min to reach. It is located on the second floor above a motorcycle mechanics. I just copied and paste what the studio had to offer. Been there only once, the studio is really quite big, that is why many freelance teachers conduct their classes there. The owners did up the place in a Punk rock yet cute decor and they have a changing space with a toilet a the back of the studio. Although the ceiling is a bit low, the poles are quite functionable as some self serve pole studios have poles which doesn’t really stick that well. Overall, if you are staying around the Kallang Lavender area, this studio might be a good choice for you.

That is some of the happenings that I observed recently although a couple of new schools also came into the picture : Noir Dance Studio and Studio Albatross. These are full fledged dance studio with full schedule of classes. The teachers are all quite young but many of them are still very competent in their trade and some of their choreography are more up to date and much more interesting.
