The last time was 2019, bunch of 200 runners gather to do round island in 200 hours. It was a fun fund raising event for the National Kidney Foundation. The relay was held on 4 Sep for 60 hours, I took the first slot at 6am that morning.
The original cost to join this relay is $60 but being a past member of the Relay Majulah in 2019, we get to join with any amount donated . The race pack is collected from Pangu Running shop at the Kallang wave mall. This shop sells a lot of running gear with a good percentage of China brand. This time the Relay Majulah is organised by Zephyr running club , it is a Chinese running club with a lot of good runners. I must say the organisation is very good and support is superb. The race pack was bountiful and had even a Hai Di lao self heated beef pot.
Relay Day

I was really sleepy on the day of the Relay because the night before I went to meet and greet the Great Eastern 10K pacer group, yes I signed up for it again because I was dazzled by the goodie bag. I reached the start line at the Marina Pomontory ( near my office ) about 5:30 am, it was still dead town at that time on a weekday of the CBD. I found out that actually the carpark in CBD only start charging at 08:30 am on weekdays! So I decided to drive , park and walk to the pomontory. Still dark in the morning, the group I am running with are filled with quite high profile members in the running world like Benny Goh ( very active veteran runner). The other more prominent person was Dr Ashley Liew, a famous marathon runner in Singapore. I was quite lucky to be running with them in this come back group.

There were no other ladies in our group but Zephyr side had some lady pacers with us. They were quite fast also. Together we did the 3.4 ishKm loop around the bay. Total we did a 10Km in 60min. The pace got faster and faster as we ran on and Minister Goh Peh Ming joined us for one round. The spirits were high despite the early morning, its good to finish one 10km before the sun is up.

Many friends and supporters also showed up on the first day. We took a lot of pictures despite the darkness. Thank god it did not rain while we ran but only showered heavily after that.
After Relay

We took more videos and photos when the sky brightened and I managed to see my team mates clearer. There were hydration and some re fuel at the point. Participants could also drop bag at the area too. I had a great run and glad I joined this for a good cause and memories.
